Short stories, true stories

You can construct many types of stories using Family History Machine, but we have two guidelines that we strongly urge you to follow.

FHM stories are short. They should focus narrowly around a single event, character or theme. You should be able to tell the story in your own words in 10 minutes of less.

FHM stories are true. Fiction is fine but FTM stories should be based in historical fact. Finished stories will be backed by corroborating facts and information.

We will follow up in greater detail on these points in the future, but we wanted to set these very important parameters up front.

When it comes to storytelling on Family History Machine, keep it short, sweet and true to life.
