Margot's family avoids placement in the Bochnia ghetto with voluntary imprisonment in a Krakow labor camp. They obtain false identity papers and relocate to Bochnia, where they are able to live outside the ghetto. She is briefly together with Jerzy and they are married in hiding in Bochnia.
