Each of us wears many hats and walks many roads in life. One of Ed’s well-worn paths was solving the daily crossword puzzle. In that spirit, here is a challenge to list 22 words and phrases that describe the man we knew and loved.

Every answer has two clues—a general one and one requiring family knowledge. Use both clues to guess the answer and fill in the blanks in the puzzle solution.
